Cyril Coomansingh is the Technical Director of Carib Glassworks Limited. He has over two decades of Executive management experience with speciality in Operations Management. In his current portfolio, he has responsibility for the Engineering, Maintenance, Production and Quality Control departments. A graduate from Henley Management College with an MBA in General Management, he also holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from The University of the West Indies. He commenced his career as a trainee engineer and worked in the steel industry for a brief period where he held the position of General Manager.

As an experienced employee motivator and problem solver, he is very passionate about leadership, mentorship and learning. Under his guidance, the University of Packing (UPack) was developed which is a robust learning and coaching curriculum for employees to be educated in the details and discipline of glass manufacturing. In addition, Cyril has led some major transformational projects including the introduction of the NNPB (narrow neck press and blow) process, complete plant upgrades and he is currently implementing robotic technology to improve the quality and efficiency of the glass making process. He also possesses skills in Strategic Planning, HR Management and Project Management.
